Role Overview:

As an Experienced Plumber Mechanic, you will handle the installation, fitting, routine maintenance, and repair of various mechanical and plumbing systems in accordance with project specifications and local codes. Your daily responsibilities will span a wide variety of tasks, from ground-up new construction and intricate retrofits to specialized troubleshooting and emergency repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret architectural blueprints, isometric drawings, and technical schematics to design and layout piping and plumbing systems.


• Install, troubleshoot, and service fixtures and piping assemblies across commercial and industrial gas, water, and drainage setups.


• Utilize a full range of hand and power tools to accurately cut, thread, bend, and secure piping.


• Perform pressure gauge checks and hydrostatic testing to evaluate system integrity and pinpoint potential leaks.


• Diagnose complex mechanical issues and execute code-compliant repairs across diverse plumbing configurations.


• Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines alongside state, local, and national plumbing regulations across all worksites.


• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and on-site oversight to field assistants and apprentices.


• Maintain precise logs of project progress, including material usage and daily working hours.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: A minimum of [5+] years of practical plumbing experience in commercial or residential settings.


• Licensing: Possessing a active Journeyman Plumber License (or equivalent regional certification) is strongly preferred.


• Knowledge: In-depth familiarity with building codes, plumbing regulations, and workplace safety standards (OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a bonus).


• Technical Skills: Proficient in working with materials such as PEX, copper, PVC, cast iron, and black iron, including hands-on experience in soldering, brazing, threading, and grooving.


• Physical Capability: Capability to lift 50+ lbs, work comfortably in tight or confined spaces, and stand for extended periods in varying weather conditions.


• Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, plus the ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
